Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality requires Global Metal Finishing to capture and analyze rainwater from our parking lot storm drains (in 2 places) every 3 months to verify that Global Metal Finishing is a “green” business. 

We love our Roanoke River and would never want any of our chemicals to end up there. Happily, we comply and Jennifer Hudson, our Executive Business Manager, agreed to be our sampler duck. 

So now you know why you see her outside dressed like this on rainy days on Aerial Way: honk your horn when you drive by!
