Services & Capabilities

We specialize in anodizing, hardcoat anodizing, chromate conversion, passivation, electroless nickel, Cerakote, MIL-SPEC paint, and laser engraving — all performed in-house at our Headquarters: Roanoke, VA facility.

Yes. We’re optimized for both prototype quantities and full-scale production. Whether you need 5 parts or 50,000, we apply the same level of quality control.

Absolutely. We design part-specific masking and fixturing to maintain coating tolerances and protect critical surfaces.

We work with aluminum, stainless steel, and other ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Let us review your drawing and confirm compatibility.

Yes. We are licensed under a FFL Type 07 and follow strict ITAR protocols for tracking serialized components and export-controlled work.

Yes, you can. All you need is a log-in and password.

If you don’t need to have requirements such as Mil-Spec, Nadcap, ITAR or CMMC go to our Quick Estimator which will give you a price range for your job, unless it falls under our Minimum Lot Charge.

Certifications & Compliance

Yes. We hold NADCAP accreditation for chemical processing — a must-have for most aerospace programs.
Yes. Our quality management system (QMS) meets both AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Yes. We are registered with the U.S. State Department under ITAR and have secure procedures in place for controlled technical data and components.
We are CMMC-ready and aligned with the requirements for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and working with defense contracts. We expect to conduct our 1st CMMC Audit the end of 2025.
Yes. You can view or download all certifications on our Certifications page or request specific documents for your supplier file.

Logistics & Turnaround

Our standard lead time is 7 business days ARO depending on the process(es) required and volume. Specialty coatings like Cerakote, detailed masking, and critical color matching, etc. may require 10-14 business days. Expedite options are available.

Yes. We offer scheduled pickup and delivery service throughout the mid-Atlantic region via trained internal staff.

We use an internal tracking system that follows each job from intake through finishing, inspection, and certification. Status updates are available on request.

Yes. We welcome audits, process reviews, and facility walkthroughs by appointment.

Engineering & Spec Support

Absolutely. We review drawings, discuss functional needs, and guide you through material compatibility and finish selection.
Yes — you can either upload in our secure quoting system or email them if they are not ITAR or CMMC. . We’ll flag potential finish issues early and provide a clear, spec-aligned quote.
In short: hardcoat is a thicker, Type III anodize offering superior wear resistance. Regular anodizing (Type II) is used for corrosion protection, aesthetics and dielectric insulation.
Passivation is for stainless steel; chromate conversion is for aluminum. Both improve corrosion resistance but are applied to different metals.
